The General Office of the State Council announced on November 4, 2025, the arrangement of certain public holidays for 2026.
Units and individuals are encouraged to combine these holidays with paid annual leave and other leave systems to create longer vacation periods in practice and promote staggered travel. During the holidays, all regions and departments must properly arrange duty shifts, ensure safety, security, and epidemic prevention work. In the event of major emergencies, they must report and handle them promptly in accordance with regulations to ensure that the people enjoy a peaceful and safe holiday.
